Tinatamad Ako...
The week is not yet over but here I am feeling too lazy to do anything....The weather today is so hot pero sigurado mamayang hapon e uulan yan...grabe ang panahon paiba-iba...at dahil dyan lalo akong tinatamad..
This week we had our IV training, 2-day didactic lecture + 1 day of return demonstration including one-on-one insertion with your partner....wala namang masamang nangyari during the last day of our training, we did our best in return demonstration, we've got scared and nervous during the one-on-one insertion of needle but after that everything ends well and now we have four days of vacation before the first day of our actual training in our assigned wards....pero kahit na may four days of small vacation kami parang hindi ko sya mararamdaman kasi parati akong umaalis ng bahay at may lakad na pinupuntahan...hays
Anyways, yesterday, Capitol Medical Center contacted me asking if I already have an IV license (e tamang-tama namang katatapos ko lang mag-IV training in *****) but because wala ako sa bahay ng tumawag sila, they asked my mother if I can return call to them pagkabalik ko, which I did, after several hours of thinking, consulting friends, etc. kasi naman hindi ko alam kung anong excuse ang gagamitin ko if ever they ask me na mag-tratraining na rin ako sa kanila, e almost one year kaya ako naghihitay ng tawag nila. tpos kung kelan naman nag-tratraining na ako dun sila tumatawag...So to continue, I called them and told them that I already have my training in IV but haven't completed the cases yet and I'm also training in *****, luckily mukhang mabait naman ung personnel nila and told me that its alright and I should continue my training in ***** but she will put my file in active (according to her, if ever na magkaroon ulit ng training in Capitol they'll call me again and if I'm available and have an IV license na, then I can take their exams) kasi if I grab the opportunity now, magkakaroon ng conflict in schedules lalo na't this Monday na daw ung exams....
That's it...I'm gonna sleep muna at baka paggising ko e ganahan akong umalis ng bahay at maki-celebrate sa mga kaibigan ko...hehehe

Where's My Usericons???
Just rambling in here...but seriously is tabulas experiencing some problems today??? Although there are times that I've read that other users complains na they're having difficulties in using tabulas somewhere in the past but because I never experienced that myself, I thought that its just a limited case and not a serious one but lately especially last week I noticed na there's something wrong in my tabulas too...At first, I'm just having difficulty in logging in pero naaayos naman sya kaagad pero now...after posting three entries, I noticed na kahit anong gawin ko, ung mga usericons e hindi talaga lumalabas...is it just me or lahat ng users are experiencing this problem???
EDIT (09-02-08): Wow! After rambling about my missing usericons, suddenly today everything is working fine...is it just a coincidence??? But still thanks Roy for fixing tabulas...
The Start of September...
Wow, its already the start of -Ber months and before we know it, its already Christmas time...
Anyways, there are so many things I'm so excited for this month...and the first on the list is the start of the third season of NBC's Heroes...the second season is not that impressive (maybe the fault of the writer's strike or not) so I'm expecting that the series this time will be more interesting and more shocking than the first and second combined (but I guess its not good to expect too much)

Aside from that there's also a new Japanese dorama that I've been waiting, Ryusei no Kizuna starring Erika Toda, Nishikido Ryo and Ninomiya Kazunari....
But above all that, this month is the start of my official training..as in training in my ward assignment..and I'm so nervous but also excited about it...
Anyways, I just watched the trailer of The Echo, a remake of our very own horror movie, Sigaw...I think the trailer is good enough and the movie is somehow decent although I didn't watch the original so I cannot really compare it...
For the First Time...

Last day of Big Sale in SM kanina at dahil sa wala naman akong pera, kahit na gusto kong bumili ng kung anu-ano, e wag na lang....
Anyways, mukhang nagkaroon ng himala today because after a long, long time nanuod ulit kami ng pamilya ko ng sine...and guess what movie they chose to watch...it's none other than the latest offering of Star Cinema, "For The First Time"...
Actually, I don't like this movie and I tried to convince them to choose another one pero natalo ako, so I tried to enjoy it na lang...the scenery was good especially when they're shooting in Greece (ang ganda nung sunset pati na rin ang sea), nakakatuwa si Candy and her penpal, at bagay sila KC at Richard but other than that everything was a so-so...I think the storyline is not that good as well as the script, parang may kulang in the movie kahit na si Ms. Joyce Bernal pa ang director nito...or maybe this is not just the kind of movie for me...mas gusto ko pang panuorin actually ung A Very Special Love nina Sarah at John Lloyd e or Wall-e...pero ok na rin at least nanuod kami ng family ko ng sama-sama, which is becoming rare this days...

Jdorama Review: Last Friends
"Family, friends, a married couple, lovers, we seem to be one of these, but we’re actually none of them. We will treasure this fragile happiness, and go as far as we can. From now, let’s be friends forever, if possible, without ever separating. And even if something happens and we must separate, let’s meet again someday, and laugh together, forever. My dear friends, you are my last friends."
Domestic violence, homosexuality and child abuse are just few of the issues being tackled in this suspense Fuji TV drama. The story of Last Friends talks about the relationships of Michiru, a victim of domestic violence, with the other residents of the share house: Ruka, a loyal friend of Michiru who hides her true feelings for her; Takeru, a victim of child abuse; Eri, a flight attendant who do not believe in eternal love and Ogura, a married man whose wife was having an affair with another man, as they try to help and protect Michiru from Sousuke, her boyfriend who works in Child Welfare Division.

The series actually started really good, amazing if I say so because no other dramas have tried to tackle delicate issues that portray the reality of our world but as the series goes on, the story becomes predictable and dragging. The last episode is disappointing because it felt like they just put everything in it then ended it without even answering some of the issues about the other characters. Although I understand that the main issue of the series is about domestic violence, the writers wasted the opportunity to tackle and develop the story of the supporting casts like Takeru (Eita), Eri (Mizukawa Asami) and even the past of Sousuke (Nishikido Ryo) was not explained properly, which could help the viewers understand why he violates or beats Michiru (Nagasawa Masami).
But what makes this drama good is not just because of the new concept (even though the storyline became weak as the series progresses) but also because of the outstanding performance of the casts. Ueno Juri and Eita, is without a doubt, are great actors but I also want to complement Nishikido Ryo for doing an excellent job. I’ve watched some of his dramas and I can say that his acting already improved here especially in the last part where he breaks down, somehow you feel sorry for him even though he hurt so many people. Asami and Shigenori (Ogura) gave the comic relief and they’ve done that part pretty well. Masami, although acted not that bad, her performance was not that impressive compared to others. I really don’t know what was lacking but I think the way she portrays her character was not that great.
Another thing worth mentioning is the soundtrack of the series. Utada Hikaru’s Prisoner of Love was used as the theme of this drama and I can say that it was really good and perfect for the series although it was used too much but nonetheless, it was good.
Overall, the series is okay, not that great but not that bad either, if the writers just used the concept properly and not focused too much about domestic violence (they’ve wasted episodes just to emphasize the act of domestic violence), I think this series would be fantastic and one of the best doramas ever. But I think the message that they wanted tell to the viewers were more important and that is, loving a person is not defined by their gender or even by the norms of society, you can love a person as long as you treat them not by their gender but as an equal human being.
RATING:

NOTE: This series won major awards in the 57th Television Drama Academy Awards and Ueno Juri and Nishikido Ryo won Best Supporting Actress and Best Supporting Actor respectively both in Television Drama Academy Awards and in Nikkan Sports Drama GrandPrix. I've also read somewhere that there are plans of making this series a movie...
